At Trovoly, your data powers your insights and helps us make Trovoly smarter for everyone. We built Trovoly to help operators and lean teams make better, data-driven decisions with clarity and confidence. That means we treat your information with care, purpose, and transparency.
This Privacy Notice explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It also outlines how we use cookies (including for marketing), and how certain business data may be used in aggregate to improve and expand Trovoly's capabilities over time.
Trovoly is designed for businesses. This Privacy Notice applies to all information we collect or process when you visit our website, create an account, connect Google Analytics (GA4), or otherwise use Trovoly. It covers any data linked to your account and activity within our platform, such as account details, connected analytics, and usage logs.
If you use Trovoly on behalf of a company, that company is considered the account owner, and data collected through your integrations belongs to that organization.
Depending on your relationship with us and how you use Trovoly:
In both roles, we protect your data and limit use strictly to the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, measure performance, and understand how Trovoly is used. Some cookies are essential to log you in or secure your account; others help us analyze usage and deliver relevant marketing messages.
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit your experience.
We never sell, rent, or trade your data, including cookie data.
As Trovoly grows, we may use anonymized data to improve product performance, enhance insights, and train future AI-driven features. This data is analyzed, never sold or shared with third parties, and is not traced back to any individual account.
Our goal is to make Trovoly smarter for everyone without compromising your trust or privacy.
For any questions, contact us at privacy@trovoly.com.
To deliver clear, actionable insights, we collect only the information necessary to operate Trovoly, connect your data sources, and improve your experience. When you create an account or interact with us, we gather basic details such as your name, company, and email address. If you upgrade to a paid plan, our secure payment processor may collect limited and encrypted billing information.
When you connect Google Analytics (GA4), we securely access the data required to surface insights, including traffic metrics, conversion events, campaign performance, and revenue data. We never collect personally identifiable customer information, such as names, emails, or credit card numbers from your customers.
We also collect technical and usage information automatically when you use Trovoly. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, and general activity logs. These details help us maintain platform performance, detect issues, and understand how users engage with Trovoly.
Additionally, we use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the platform runs smoothly, measure engagement, and deliver relevant marketing. Essential cookies keep you signed in and secure your session. Analytics cookies help us understand how you use Trovoly, and marketing cookies allow us to communicate updates and offers that may be valuable to you. You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
We do not collect more than we need, and we never sell, rent, or trade the information we gather.
We use the data we collect to power Trovoly's core functionality and continually make the platform more useful for you. Your account and connected data enable us to generate insights from your GA4, customize your dashboard, and deliver recommendations that help you make informed decisions.
We also use anonymized data to analyze trends, test new features, and build future AI-driven capabilities designed to make Trovoly smarter and more helpful for everyone. Any information used for these improvements is processed anonymously and is not traced back to your account.
We may contact you to share onboarding tips, product updates, or offers relevant to your business. You can opt out of promotional communications at any time. Analytics and marketing data help us understand how Trovoly is used and ensure our messaging is helpful rather than intrusive. We do not sell your behavioral data.
In limited cases, we may process or share data as needed to comply with the law, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the integrity of our platform.
At every stage, we use your information responsibly to make Trovoly work better for you, not to profit from your data.
We store your information securely using modern encryption standards and access controls designed to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. All data transmitted between your browser, connected sources, and Trovoly is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and other industry best practices. Any stored data, including aggregated analytics or account information is encrypted at rest and safeguarded by strict internal access policies. Only authorized personnel who need access to support or maintain the service can view limited data, and all such activity is logged and monitored.
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to deliver insights, maintain your account, or meet legal and contractual obligations. Some limited, aggregated data may be stored longer to analyze product performance or train future AI-driven features, but this data is anonymized and cannot identify your business or customers. Once your account is deleted or disconnected, we remove associated data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for security and compliance.
You have full control over your integrations. You may disconnect your GA4 connection at any time, and you may request deletion of your data by contacting privacy@trovoly.com. After deletion, any remaining logs or backup copies are securely purged on a rolling schedule.
While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continuously monitor and update our infrastructure to reduce risk, follow security best practices, and protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
At Trovoly, you remain in control of your information. We aim to make it simple to understand how your data is used and to give you clear options for managing it.
You can review and update your account details at any time or contact us at support@trovoly.com to request corrections. If you choose to close your account, we'll deactivate it and remove identifiable information from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, billing, or security requirements.
Some data may also continue to be retained in backup systems or aggregated form as part of our ongoing product improvement and reliability processes. This helps ensure that system insights remain accurate and that Trovoly continues to perform reliably over time.
Disconnecting Google Analytics (GA4) integration will stop new data from being imported. Historical records already processed may remain in anonymized or aggregated form to preserve reporting accuracy and model learning, but they can no longer be linked back to your account.
You can manage cookies and marketing preferences through your browser. You may also opt out of promotional e-mail communications at any time by clicking Unsubscribe or contacting us directly.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain types of processing. We honor these rights where applicable and always respond transparently to user requests.
If you have any questions or concerns about how your data is handled, please reach out—we're here to help and committed to protecting your trust.
We value your trust and handle your information with care. Trovoly only shares data when it's necessary to operate the platform, support your account, or meet legal obligations. We never sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share limited data in the following cases:
We work with carefully selected partners who help us deliver and maintain Trovoly, such as hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors, customer support platforms, and email delivery services. These service providers are bound by strict data protection agreements and are only allowed to use your information as instructed by Trovoly to perform specific functions on our behalf.
When you connect Google Analytics (GA4), we access the data necessary to provide insights. These integrations follow their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review those policies for details on how they handle data. Disconnecting an integration stops all future data sharing with that source.
We may disclose data when required by law or in response to valid legal requests such as subpoenas or court orders. We may also share information to investigate or prevent potential fraud, unauthorized access, or other security issues, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trovoly, our users, or others.
If Trovoly undergoes a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that process. In such cases, your data will remain protected under the terms of this Privacy Notice or an equivalent successor policy.
We may share aggregated, anonymized information that cannot identify any individual account. This helps us demonstrate overall product performance, usage trends, and system reliability, and may also support research and development of new features.
Any sharing we do is limited, purpose-driven, and controlled, ensuring your information remains protected and confidential.
Trovoly's infrastructure is hosted on secure, industry-standard cloud providers with data centers located in the United States and other regions that maintain comparable data-protection standards.
We store your information only for as long as it's needed to deliver insights, operate our Services, meet legal or billing obligations, and improve performance. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality requirements.
Because we serve customers globally, your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Whenever data crosses borders, we apply the same safeguards described in this Notice and rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections to ensure your information remains secure and handled lawfully.
Regardless of where it's processed, your data is protected by the same promise: Trovoly will never sell or rent your information, and we take every reasonable step to keep it safe.
We use cookies and similar technologies to make Trovoly work smoothly, understand how it's used, and share updates that are relevant to you. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us recognize your browser, remember preferences, and measure performance.
We use three main types of cookies:
You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality or limit some features.
We may also use analytics and marketing tools, such as Google Analytics or similar services, to better understand traffic sources and user engagement. Any marketing based on these insights is limited to Trovoly's own products—we never show ads for other companies or share your data with external advertisers.
Your privacy choices matter. You can adjust cookie preferences, opt out of marketing emails, or contact us at privacy@trovoly.com if you have questions about how cookies are used.
Because Trovoly serves users in multiple regions, including the European Union and United Kingdom, we process information under the legal bases permitted by applicable data protection laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR.
We rely on one or more of the following lawful grounds depending on the context:
Regardless of the legal basis, we handle your data transparently and only for purposes aligned with this Privacy Notice.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Notice to reflect product improvements, regulatory changes, or feedback from our users. When we do, we'll post the revised version here with a new "Last Updated" date at the top.
If the changes are significant, we'll also notify you directly—for example, via email or a message within the platform—before they take effect.
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Continued use of Trovoly after an update means you accept the revised terms.
You have control over your data and we're here to make exercising that control easy. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To make a request, email us at privacy@trovoly.com and include "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We'll respond as soon as reasonably possible.
If you're located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another region with similar privacy laws, you also have the right to raise a concern with your local data protection authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve it directly first.
