Marketing Expertise, Without the Jargon
Trovoly was built by seasoned marketing professionals. Our recommendation engine, strategies, and articles draw on years of experience running campaigns, optimizing conversion funnels, and growing ecommerce brands. That depth of knowledge is exactly what makes the platform powerful.
But it also means the language can feel intimidating if you're new to marketing.
Terms like "Promotion Fatigue," "Conversion Rate," and "AOV" are second nature to experienced marketers — and completely foreign to someone who just launched their first online store. We believe high-level marketing strategy shouldn't be locked behind a vocabulary barrier.
What's new
Starting today, you'll notice that key marketing terms across Trovoly are gently highlighted wherever they appear — in your recommendations, strategy cards, and articles.
Hover over any highlighted term on desktop, or tap it on mobile, and a short definition appears instantly. No need to open a new tab, search Google, or interrupt your train of thought.
For example, when you see "Spend Threshold" in a promotion strategy, you can hover to learn it means a promotion mechanic that rewards customers once they reach a minimum spend amount. Where a term has a common abbreviation — like AOV for Average Order Value — we show both so you can connect the dots.
Why this matters
When you understand what a recommendation is actually asking you to do, you make better decisions. You're not just following instructions — you're building real marketing intuition.
Whether you're a founder wearing every hat, a first-time store owner, or a team member stepping into marketing for the first time, these definitions are
designed to meet you where you are and help you grow from there.
The full glossary
We've also added a dedicated glossary page where you can browse all 24 terms alphabetically. Think of it as a reference guide you can return to any time. You'll find it under Resources in the footer.
This is just the beginning
We'll continue adding terms as the platform evolves. If you come across a word or concept that could use a definition, let us know — we're building Trovoly for you.
